The working principle of brushless DC motor

Brushless DC motor consists of motor body and drive, which is a typical electromechanical integration product. The stator windings of the motor are made up of three-relative star-shaped method, which is very similar to the three-phase asynchronous motor. The rotor of the motor is stuck with a magnetically filled permanent magnet, in order to detect the polarity of the motor rotor, which is fitted with a position sensor in the motor. The drive consists of a power electronic device and an integrated circuit, whose function is to accept the start-up, stopping, and braking signal to control the start-up, stopping and braking of the motor; Receiving position sensor signal and positive and negative signal, used to control the power pipe of the inverter bridge, resulting in a continuous torque, to receive speed instructions and speed feedback signal, to control and adjust the speed, provide protection and display and so on. The DC motor has the performance of fast response, large starting torque, from zero RPM to rated speed, which can provide rated torque. But the advantages of DC motors are its disadvantages, because the DC motor to generate a constant torque under rated load, the armature magnetic field and rotor magnetic field must be maintained at 90 °, which will be the carbon brush and rectifier.
